Joanne Kennedy is a freelance photographer and author who has lived in Peru, NY for the past 36 years

after growing up on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Joanne feels twice blessed to have lived in areas

with magnificent, breathtaking landscapes inhabited by communities of down  to earth folks.   She finds a healing peace in the great outdoors and loves to share images of nature with hopes

 they encourage viewers to find their ‘peace’ - whether it is walking the shoreline of a tranquil pond 

or climbing a high peak.   It is only one step away.
