Joanne Kennedy has lived in Peru, New York for the past 29 years after growing up on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.  Joanne feels twice blessed having left an area of magnificent landscapes of ocean and mountains to settle in a scenery treasure trove such as the Adirondack area overflowing with communities of down to earth folk.  Joanne greatly appreciates the support of wonderful family and friends in her pursuit of capturing special places and moments to be frozen in time.

Joanne works as a freelance photographer for the Press Republican newspaper and has had photos and /or articles published in Canoe & Kayak, Sailing World and Adirondack Life

Joanne is a member of the Adirondack Mountain Club and the Adirondack 46ers and has a great love and respect for nature.  Reaching a summit to be rewarded by breathtaking panoramic views, which you can immortalize in print, life doesn't get any better than this.
